Well ****, if I had a whole bunch of boxes on my floor, I'd have 1000 HP too!

I don't know how much more power the 80E eats up.
I am supprised that not many if anyone has gotten 400rwhp or more out of a stock bottom end 6.0L , unless like you say, the 80e eats up lots of power. But if it is using a 60e, then your right, I wouldnt think it would be a problem pushing 400 rwhp or more.

the 4l80e will definatly eat more power than the 60e will...i think i remember parish 8 saying that his 6.0/4l80e felt just about the same as his 4.8/4l60e did it kills that much power. now, once you start throwing heads/cam nitrous, boost etc at it...then it will start to be of more use holding the power better, and you'll have more power to sacrafice.

I've heard the 80 eats up nearly 100rwhp, more than twice the 4L60.

your retarded, i never said anything like that.

stock 4.8 with just efans was showing low 15's gtech 2.5 60's

stock 6.0 with stall, 4l80e, efans, upd and the best part, thru the full 4.8 single exhaust. low 13's on the gtech, 1.95 60's

i am very happy with the way my truck runs NA, it gets out of the hole great and just keeps pulling.

not sure why but there are alot more nitrous set up's and blower set up's than heads and cam set up's, i dynoed 290rwhp thru an 80 and tcase, i will be going back in a week or so to do another dyno with some tuning and a big cam(but a turbo cam).
