Truck too long! What would you do?
I just had a new home built and the place is awesome! But...I went to park my Avalanche in the garage and it's too long. The door will come down but scrapes the bumper.
I was thinking of maybe trading it for a tahoe. Just curious-What would you do?

That's the easy, inexpensive answer & exactly what I was goin to say. Or for a lil more, add a rollpan. They offer those for Avy's, right?
Most brother's wife had a 1500HD that replaced a ECSB & he has a work van that replaced an older work van. Neither fitin the garage. In winter, I hated oil changes, since I did them for him. The HD is now a Malibu, so the 'BU fits easily. The newer van didn't fit til I put on some slightly shorted tires. Who woulda thought GM would replace 1 van w/. the newer that was 2" taller.
Consumers gotta take these changes into the mix if they wanna use the garage. If in a warmer area, it may be less of a concern. No garage or 1 you cant use is only slightly worse than a small 1 or 1 1/2 car. When I buy a house, I hope to afford a 2 car garage or tear down/ build a 2car if somethin less is all I can afford at the time. I like roomy garages.

In my old apt garage I couldnt pull in and let the garage door down, I had to back in due to the parking stop in there. I never took my ballmount out of the hitch and punched a nice little hole in the wall. My back bumper had to be touching the wall and the door would clear the front bumper by less than an inch.
