Default turbo 4.8

a good friend of mine just put a turbo on his 2010 2wd-rcsb chevy.he also changed his tranny to a 400 turbo with a 4000 8" converter.he told me last night that it runs realy well and that it spools up to 12lbs of boost at the line with that converter.tonight he's taking it to the dyno to see what his #'s are.also he put a Z06 cam in it.should be pretty quick.

Is that 11.0 the current stock 4.8L record? (In a truck of course) I'm trying to think of who would even be second fastest.

I found this guy Kyle running 11.9 in a 4.8.

I got a ride in the truck today.it pulls real hard after boost.and feels like 11's will come pretty easy if it gets out of the hole good.

Llaverito, is that from the launch or after you roll out?

I have a Circle D triple stalled at 3200 coming but will be running a transbrake. I was told it would be up around 4k or so on the brake, so thats more then enough RPM for full boost (15psi), I have a feeling i'm going to blow the tires off it.

It makes full boost on the transbrake and goes all the way up 4600 or more and the transbrake is very low to release. Im gonna change the brake and send the converter to restall it lower.
